News and Films From Sudan’s Frontline (Beta)

Make it news

Journalists are banned from the Nuba mountains. This makes it extremely difficult for International media to cover the war and it’s impact on civilians. Nuba Reports brings together local journalists with professional editors and mentors in order to produce verifiable and compelling dispatches from the front lines.
But for the model to work, we need your help. Make this hidden conflict visible. Make it news.

About us

Fighting broke out in June 2011 between Sudan’s government and Nuban rebels. Nuba Reports was founded by people living in the region after journalists and NGOs were banned. Our goal is to provide Sudan and the International community with credible and compelling dispatches from the front lines of this conflict and to illuminate the war’s impact on civilians. more

Media

Nuba Reports was founded to provide eyes and ears on the ground in a region that is physically remote and politically isolated. An important part of our mission is to support coverage of issues by journalists, and supply reliable information to organizations in the region.

Media

All Nuba Reports video and images are available to news organizations interested in reporting on the conflicts in Sudan. High definition footage and interviews are available upon request.

The Nuba Reports team in the field is available for interviews.

In certain situations we can provide logistical support and production for journalists and media organizations looking to report from the region.

Organizational Partners

In keeping with our core mission of increasing awareness of the conflict in South Kordofan and beyond, Nuba Reports can supply governmental and non-governmental organizations with in-depth, detailed information about the conflict and its effect on civilians.

We are actively seeking to create partnerships and connections with media and non governmental organizations in order advance our reporting, coverage and distribution.
